“Empowering Women and Girls: Emergency Assistance” program

Solutions Center was awarded $2,500 to provide emergency financial assistance for women who are fleeing domestic abuse situations.  The Emergency Assistance program helps cover the costs of documents and deeds needed for employment, housing, education and childcare as well as emergency hotel stays and emergency transportation.

It is anticipated that 50 women being served through Solutions Center and Agnesian Domestic Violence Services will receive financial assistance in 2018.
