“Empowering Women and Girls: Emergency Assistance” program
Solutions Center
3000
The Solutions Center is a recipient of a $3,000 grant which will support the Emergency Assistance Fund. This fund assists women who are fleeing domestic violence to obtain documents needed for employment, housing, education and childcare. These dollars will provide a match requirement to the Center’s federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant, increasing the overall scope of impact to $9,000. Solutions Center is a core partner in our Fond du Lac Says No More initiative and this grant aligns with the initiative, as well as two giving priorities: Safety, Dignity and Freedom from Violence and Economic Self-Sufficiency.
