Moraine Park Technical College received $3,500 for the Student Emergency Fund, which is for Fond du Lac County women at risk of dropping out of college due to unforeseen financial emergencies. Eligible expenses include medications and medical care, travel to campus clinical courses, food, utilities, child care, rent and other essential expenses.

Approximately 14 female students are expected to benefit from this grant. Students applying for funds must be enrolled in a program, enrolled in at least six credits, have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and provide evidence of the financial hardship.
