Ebony Vision received $5000 toward their program for girls. Their mentorship model addresses systemic issues related to racial justice, gender, equity, access to mental health, and opportunities in educational systems. It will be an integrated approach for “adolescent girls aged 12-17 and adult women who have been historically underserved and hesitant to utilize or trust medical institutions and educational systems.”
This grant is part of our Strategic granting program. Strategic grants are designed to inspire and solidify strong partnerships between nonprofit organizations in the Fond du Lac area. Specifically, these Strategic Grants are meant to be three-year agreements whereby at least two collaborating nonprofit agencies seek to address a larger issue confronting women and/or girls in the Fond du Lac area.
