United Way Fond du Lac Executive Director Amber Kilawee is the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund’s next Green Dot SHEro. She was nominated not only for the work she’s done in hosting trainings for United Way partner agencies in 2019 and another for her Board and staff in 2022, but also for her personal commitment. Amber has gone out of her way to intervene when she saw things that were concerning. Here, she shares about “why” Green Dot matters, especially when it comes to her being a role model for her boys.
