Recovery from drugs and alcohol involves many different strategies. They need books and supplies to enhance their learning experience about the recovery process and become active, healthy members of society. The participants can learn about their addiction through books and videos which Beacon would like to add to their library to broaden the selection. As the clients learn from the materials, they need study supplies to take notes, highlight and mark sections that pertain to their situation. They also need lab desks and foot stools to work on the assignments. Finally, crafting materials will be used to allow the clients to decompress from the intense learning format. They need crafting and art supplies to facilitate this.
