As we celebrate our 2023 Woman of Achievement Lacey Sadoff at our 19th annual Power of the Purse Luncheon April 26, 2023, we are also taking nominations for SHEroes again this year.
Our community SHEroes concept arose out of the pandemic when we wanted to recognize women in healthcare when we were able to gather for the luncheon again in 2021. In 2022, we honored SHEroes making a difference in mental health, as that was our theme/educational message that year. This year, the theme/educational component of the event centers around our Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training and the idea that we can all do something when we see something that is concerning in the way of potential violence.
Nominate a SHEro who either lives or works in FDL County for their contributions in speaking up for others who could be harmed, someone who exemplifies the spirit of intervening, rather than idly standing by.
