SHEroes of Fond du Lac Area

Nominate a SHEro today!

As excitement builds for our 20th Annual Power of the Purse Luncheon on April 24, 2024, we are seeking nominations for SHEroes to acknowledge, uplift, and celebrate!

This year we are highlighting individuals who have created ripples of influence and impact around our five foundational fund pillars:

The SHEroes concept arose in 2021 after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to recognize women in healthcare, social services, nonprofits, and more who were going above and beyond to ensure the safety and essential support of individuals in our community. The first mighty group of SHEroes was celebrated at our 2021 Power of the Purse luncheon.

In 2022, we honored SHEroes for making a difference in mental health, as that was our theme and educational message of the Power of the Purse event.

In 2023, the theme centered around generating greater awareness of our Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training. This program has been instrumental in spreading the mindset and practical tools so individuals in our community can do something when they see something concerning and actively take a stand against potential violence.

Our only requirements are that they live or work in FDL County or surrounding areas, AND we can map their impact to one or more of our five fund pillars (noted above).

Each person nominated will be acknowledged on our website, social media, and at the Power of the Purse luncheon event. We will review all submissions and select our official 2024 SHEroes (19 and older) and Junior SHEroes (18 and younger).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR NOMINATIONS.
Stay tuned for official announcements of our 2024 SHEROes!
