Human trafficking is a serious issue that affects people all over the nation, including right here in Wisconsin. According to recent reports, Wisconsin has seen a significant increase in human trafficking cases in recent years, including in Fond du Lac County.
Victims of human trafficking are often forced into sex work or other forms of labor against their will, with no means of escape. This traumatic experience can have lifelong effects on a person’s physical and mental health.
