Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and forward-thinking Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter. This role is 3/4 time (32 hours) and is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about advancing our mission and vision, and who embodies our values of education, stewardship, integrity, equity-fairness, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Developement & Fundraising
Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies with the Board and Development Committee.
Cultivate and engage donors at all levels, ensuring meaningful acknowledgment and stewardship.
Lead financial growth through individual, major, and planned giving, corporate sponsorships, and grant support.
Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events in partnership with the Special Events Committee.
Board Relations
Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, resource development, and organizational sustainability.
Provide regular communication and reporting to the Board on major organizational initiatives.
Build a strong, supportive community by recruiting, onboarding, and engaging Board members and volunteers.
Community Engagement
Partner with Communications and Community Education Committees to increase positive awareness of the Fund.
Maintain and enhance relationships with key community partners and stakeholders.
Ensure volunteers are trained, effective, and satisfied with their engagement.
Administrative & Financial Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable state/federal laws and financial standards.
Prepare and manage the annual budget in conjunction with the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee.
Provide leadership by applying knowledge of philanthropy, women’s issues, and non-profit management.
Maintain essential financial and administrative records.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in non-profit management or a related field.
Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Commitment to equity, diversity, and community collaboration.
