2024 Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund – Year End Letter

As we reflect on 2024, we are proud of the strides we have made to empower and uplift women and girls in our community. One of our most exciting accomplishments was launching the first annual Girl-Powered Giving program. This initiative empowers young girls to develop leadership and philanthropy skills, guiding them to understand the impact they can make in their community. We are thrilled to see the next generation learning how to give back, and this program would not have been possible without your support.

Additionally, we had the honor of matching a generous gift from one of our founders, Ginny Gilmore, which allowed us to fund essential training for the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program in Fond du Lac. This training ensures that victims of sexual assault receive compassionate, expert care, and it represents a crucial step in addressing and preventing violence against women in our community.

As we look ahead, we invite you to join us in continuing this important work. Whether through a financial contribution, volunteering your time, or simply spreading the word about our programs, your support makes a profound difference. Together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for the women and girls of the Fond du Lac area.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Tasha Rieder, 2024 Board President & Jolene Schatzinger, Executive Director
